The duo Contour is formed by the North American percussionist Lee Ferguson and the English trumpeter Stephen Altoft. They work in multimedia environments, creating projects with many of today’s European musicians including the Slovenian composer Igor Majcen and the German conductor Thierry Brühl. They have recently taken part in different international festivals and events, including the Colourscape Festival, the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, the UK Microfest and the Percussive Arts Society Conference in Texas. The Duo has been resident at the Banff Centre for the Arts (Canada), and was featured at the Slowind Festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia. They have also done recordings for Südwest Rundfunk, Deutschland Radio Berlin and Slovenian National Radio.
